The assessment of the quality of drinking-water from public water main for citizens in town Strakonice

This bachelor thesis contains basic information about the requirements for quality of drinking water supplied from municipal water mains and about the requirements for drinking water in respect to safety in general and safety for a human organism. The theoretical part of the thesis contains indicators used to characterize quality of drinking water and it presents general issues of safety of drinking water from municipal water mains for human health. The theoretical part also includes information about bottled drinking water. The practical part focuses on mapping of the subjective evaluation and opinions of the residents of Strakonice in respect to the quality of drinking water supplied from municipal water mains, which was the main objective of my thesis. The research was conducted by means of questionnaires
