Quality of drinking water and protection of water resources

This bachelor thesis deals with the quaity of drinking water and protection of water resources. The work introduces the principles and state of water management in Czech republic. The following section provides specifics and problems of water abstraction and describes the main geological units in connection with qualifying and protecting of water resources. The thesis also focuses on the legal systém for the protection of water resources and quality requiremenst for drinking water. These general rules are applied to specific intakes. There are also mentioned the potential shortcomings and recommendations
