Paris and Berlin stand out in Europe for their nightlife and the vitality of their music scene. Music bookers play a key role in both of these capitals' cultural influence. Analysing the national and geographical diversity among these central, yet little-known, actors provides a better understanding of the issues pertaining to their international circulation and its effects on the scene. On both sides of the Rhine, access to the music field varies for foreign cultural intermediaries.
