This study examines the factors that influence organizational commitment among public employees in residential colleges in the University of Malaya. A total of 100 employees representing 12 colleges responded to the questionnaires that were designed to measure their motivation and level of commitment. The data obtained were analyzed using correlation, analysis of variance and regression analysis were used in order to achieve the objectives of the study. The findings of this study indicated that there are significant and positive relationships between all factors (employment compensation, training and development, career development and management support) with organization commitment.
