AbstractOrganizational commitment is one of the most widely researched topics in the field of organizational behaviour. The main objective of this study is to test the effects of work engagement, organizational learning, and work environment on organizational commitment in higher education sector. To achieve this objective, the data was collected using an online survey from 242 employees at public universities in northern Malaysia. The collected data was analysed using SPSS and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings indicated that employee engagement has a significant positive effect on organizational commitment.
