The present work has as main objectives the analysis of the importance of family involvement in children's development, in the context of child education, as well as observe how the LDB and the Guidelines foresee this issue and the perspective of educators regarding the family participation with the educational institution. Seeking to contribute to the improvement of child education, the analysis that will be done throughout this work consists to analyse how family can influence the skills development of the child, contributing to a better learning process.
