This study aims to investigate the parents understanding of participation in the school life of children and how this process occurs in practice. The methodology used was the bibliographical research, which found that the relationship school and family is essential, for the family as a guide space, construction of the identity of an individual must promote along with the school partnership in order to contribute to the child's full development.
