HUBUNGAN USIA KEHAMILAN TERHADAP PH SALIVA DAN KAPASITAS BUFER SALIVA PADA IBU HAMIL DI PUSKESMAS NGESREP TAHUN 2019

During pregnancy hormonal changes, especially the hormones estrogen and progesterone, cause changes in anatomy and physiology, including changes of saliva in the oral cavity. The degree of acidity (pH) and buffer capacity saliva is parameters in maintaining the balance and health of the oral cavity. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of pregnancy age to salivary pH and salivary buffer capacity in pregnant women at the Ngesrep Health Center in Semarang.The type of research used was observational with a cross sectional design. The study was conducted at the Ngesrep Health Center with a sample of 69. The sampling technique was taken by stratified random sampling. Data analysis was performed by statistical tests using Kendall's Tau to determine the relationship between independent variables and dependent variables.The results showed a p-value of salivary pH value of 0.0781 (p> 0.005), and a p-value of salivary buffer capacity of 0.024 (
