PERBEDAAN PEMBERIAN AIR REBUSAN DAUN SALAM DAN AIR REBUSAN DAUN KEMANGI TERHADAP PENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH WANITA LANSIA HIPERTENSI DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS COLOMADU I

The prevalence of chronic disorder in elderly hypertensive age is 38% after atritis Hypertension is a silent killer where symptoms can vary in each individual and almost the same as other symptoms of the disease. Referring to the concept of back to nature is by using local materials that are widely available in the community, the material is in the form of boiled water bay leaf and boiled water basil leaves as an effort to lower blood pressure hypertension patients. The purpose of this study is to know the effect of boiled water leaves and cooking water Basil leaves against decreased systolic blood pressure and diastole in elderly women with hypertension.This research method is pre experimental with one group pre test and post test. Samples in this study as many as 30 respondents elderly women with hypertension divided into groups of boiled water leaves 15 regents and 15 boiled water banana leaves 15 respondents. This research was conducted in the working area of Puskesmas Colomadu I.The result of this research shows that there is a difference of the effect of giving boiled water of bay leaves and boiling water of basil leaves, whereby boiled water of bay leaves is more effective at lowering blood pressure compared to boiling water of basil leaves with mean value of systolic pressure 3,974 and diastolic 4,133.With the results of this study is expected to basil leaves and bay leaves can be used as a natural treatment that has minimal side effects for people with hypertension in the community. Researchers then expected to control and evaluated other variables that can also affect hypertension disease
