An investigation on the ferromagnetic resonance of permalloy films at microwave frequencies (3 cm), is reported. The results depends on the following factors : the influence of gas pressure during evaporation (10—5 mmHg down to 10—9 mmHg) ; the influence of temperature (300 °K down to 4 °K) ; the examination of special effects on the line shape due firstly to standing spin waves, secondly to layer structure of the films and finally to uniaxial anisotropy.
