Abstract: The objective of this research is to improve the understanding of the story of wayang kulit purwa to the students in the VI grade of SDN Dilem by using media quartet card game. This research belongs to a classroom action research. The research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Techniques of collecting data used in this research were interview, observation, test, and documentation. The data validation techniques used were data triangulation and method triangulation. Technique of analyzing data used was an interactive model of analysis.
