PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP SISTEM PEMERINTAHAN PUSAT DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION (GI)

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to improve the comprehension of concepts system of central goverment using cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI). The research was a room action research conducted of two cycle. Subjects of this research were teacher and 4th grade students in SD N Bratan III Surakarta conductd of 29 students. The data collecting techniques were test, observation, interview, and documentation. And the analyze data used interactive technique. The average score of class before action (pre-cycle) is 42,93, in cycle 1 the average score increase become improves 78,45, and in cycle 2 increase 86,72. Based on the results of the analysis, a conclusion was drawn that using cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI) can improve the understanding of concepts system of central goverment in 4th grade students of SD N Bratan III Surakarta in the academic year of 2015/2016. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningatkan pemahaman konsep sistem pemerintahan pusat dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI). Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas 4 SD N Bratan III Surakarta yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menujukan nilai rata-rata kelas pratindakan sebesar 42,93 meningkat menjadi 78,45 pada siklus I dan naik menjadi 86,72 pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep sistem pemerintahan pusat siswa kelas 4 SD N Bratan III Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2015/2016.
