groups in the folk and country music area, their professional or economical growth

The thesis deals with the present situation of groups in the folk and country music area, describes the pluses and minuses of amateur bands running and the opportunities of their professional or economical growth. The work arises from the common public materials and data or the personal interview of the bands members and the organizers of particular actions. The analysis of the folk festivals and their financing was completed on the basis of statictics. The practical part is based on the experience of the "Berušky" band from Jablonec nad Nisou city. The band has been running in the folk and country genre for twelve years and it brought out its first authorial CD.Bakalářská práce se zabývá současnou situací skupin v oblasti hudebního žánru folk a country, popisuje klady i zápory fungování amatérských kapel a jejich možnosti profesního i ekonomického růstu. Práce vychází z veřejně dostupných materiálů a podkladů a osobních rozhovorů se členy kapel a pořadateli akcí. Ze statistických údajů byla provedena analýza folkových festivalů a jejich způsob financování. Praktická část je založena na zkušenostech kapely Berušky z Jablonce nad Nisou, která se v žánru folk a country pohybuje již dvanáctým rokem a vydala své první autorské CD
