Folk culture as a product of tourism in the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis deals with folk culture and its position in tourism in the Czech Republic. It focuses mainly on folklore festivals held regularly in the Czech Republic, which represent an interesting product for both domestic and foreign tourists. The theoretical part defines the terms related to the topic of the thesis, evaluates the importance of folklore in tourism and characterizes major organisations, which operate in this area. The bachelor thesis presents an analysis of five chosen folklore festivals held in different regions of the Czech Republic and based on chosen criteria, the conditions of these festivals for the development of tourism are determined. The aim of the practical part of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the promotion of selected folk festivals. The attitude of individual organisers to promotion has been investigated and based on the information gathered, possible solutions are suggested to improve the current state of the promotion of the folklore festivals.Bakalářská práce se zabývá postavením lidové kultury v cestovním ruchu v České republice. Zaměřuje se především na folklorní festivaly, které jsou zajímavým produktem jak pro domácí, tak pro příjezdový cestovní ruch. Teoretická část práce vymezuje pojmy související se zaměřením práce, hodnotí význam folkloru v cestovním ruchu a charakterizuje významné organizace působící v této oblasti. Bakalářská práce předkládá analýzu pěti vybraných folklorních festivalů pořádaných v různých krajích České republiky a pomocí předem stanovených kritérií jsou určeny předpoklady těchto festivalů k rozvoji cestovního ruchu. Cíl praktické části bakalářské práce spočívá v hodnocení propagace vybraných folklorních festivalů. Byl zjišťován přístup jednotlivých organizátorů k propagaci festivalu a na základě zjištěných informací jsou navržena možná řešení, jak současný stav propagace zlepšit
