Human Capital and Education in Czech Republic

This bachelor work deals with human capital and education. The first part of my work is focused on the theory of human capital, which comes from the work of the economist Gary S. Becker. In this part influences on formation of human capital are described, in more detail the theme of investments to human capital, types of investments, their rate of return and the risk rate are specified. Next this part is concerned with a connection between education and economic growth and with a theory of signals. The second part is focused on an education system in the Czech Republic, its comparison with other world education systems and last but not least on its financing.Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o problematice lidského kapitálu a vzdělávání. První část je zaměřena na teorii lidského kapitálu, která vychází především z práce ekonoma Garyho S. Beckera. V této části jsou popsány vlivy na utváření lidského kapitálu, podrobněji je rozepsáno téma investic do lidského kapitálu, jednotlivé typy investic, jejich výnosnost a rizikovost. Dále se tato část krátce zabývá spojitostí vzdělání s hospodářským růstem a s teorií signálů. Druhá část je zaměřena na vzdělávací systém v ČR, jeho komparaci s ostatními vzdělávacími systémy světa a v neposlední řadě na jeho financování
