The Issue of Conceptual Knowledge Formation in the Process of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language

The paper considers the methodology of developing the foreign students conceptual knowledge while learning the Russian language. The conceptual knowledge is defined as notional reality reflection perceived and expressed in a foreign (Russian in this case) language. Within the framework of the functional approach, the author analyzes the correlation between the cognitive types of knowledge and competences, and reconsiders one of the latest linguistic concepts - the theory of linguacultural consciousnesses by the Russian-language scholar J. N. Karaulov- that can be applied to teaching Russian as a foreign language. In conclusion the author presents the main methodological ideas facilitating the formation of foreign students linguistic and cognitive representations of the world - starting from the basic level of the language and lingua-cultural knowledge to the fragments systematization of the Russian language world representation.В статье рассматривается методика формирования концептуального знания иностранных студентов в процессе обучения русскому языку. Концептуальное знание трактуется автором как понятийное отражение действительности, воспринимаемое и выражаемое на иностранном (в данном случае русском) языке. Проанализировано соотношение когнитивных типов знаний и компетенций в рамках деятельностного подхода. Переосмыслена одна из новейших лингвистических концепций - теория лингвокультурного сознания русской языковой личности Ю. Н. Караулова, которая может быть использована в учебном процессе. В заключение автором последовательно перечислены основные методические положения, помогающие формированию языковой и когнитивно-познавательной картин мира иностранного учащегося: от определения начального уровня языковых и лингвокультурологических знаний до систематизации фрагментов русской языковой картины мира
