The Problem Solving Approach as a Developing Factor of Students Technological Thinking at Secondary Vocational Schools

The paper deals with the essence and structure of the technological thinking; the expediency of using the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the problem solving approach to technological thinking development is substantiated for secondary vocational school students. The problem typology concerning the development of technological thinking components is reviewed, the examples of problems solving by using the Automated Design System given along with the research findings indicating the effectiveness of the above mentioned approach and ICT application. The research results make a certain contribution into the development theory of a subject-specific thinking and can be recommended for complex studies of corresponding problems; vocational training and further training of vocational school teachers; designing the complex programs of students' technical thinking formation.В статье раскрыты сущность и структура технологического мышления, обоснована целесообразность использования информационно-коммуникационных технологий (ИКТ) и задачного подхода для развития технологического мышления студентов технического средне-специального учебного заведения (ССУЗа). Рассмотрена типология задач, ориентированных на развитие компонентов технологического мышления; приведены примеры задач для решения в системе автоматизированного проектирования. Описаны результаты исследования, свидетельствующие об эффективности реализации задачного подхода с помощью средств ИКТ. Представленные материалы вносят определенный вклад в теорию развития предметно-специфического мышления и могут быть использованы в комплексных исследованиях соответствующих проблем, в ходе профессиональной подготовки и повышения квалификации преподавателей технических ссузов, при разработке комплексных программ формирования технологического мышления студентов
