Hoarseness in a vocal pedagogical perspective. The study examines hoarseness from a vocal perspective. The study aims to sensitize why the voice is becoming hoarse and how to treat this as a vocal coach. The study questions are: what are the causes of hoarseness, how can you as a vocal coach investigate the causes of hoarseness, what are the tools to treat the causes as a vocal coach and how the different causes and treatment of hoarseness depends due to gender? The study is based on qualitative methodology based on interviews. The conclusions of the study are that there are differences in how the hoarseness arise due to gender, in both incidence and prevalence.
