PENGARUH PEMANFAATAN MEDIA SOSIAL YOUTUBE TERHADAP KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IX SMP NEGERI 2 PONTIANAK

AbstractThis study contained the influence of the use of youtube social media on the learning independence of Grade IX students of SMP Negeri 2= -=M Pontianak. A common problem in this study is how does the influence of the use of youtube social media on the learning independence of Grade IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak? Sub problems are (1) What is the use of youtube social media for class IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak? (2) What is the learning independence of class IX students of Pontianak State Middle School 2? (3) How influential is the use of youtube social media on the learning independence of Grade IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak ?. The general problem in this study aimed to obtain an overview and describe the effect of using social media youtube on students. The method in this research is descriptive method with the form of research used, namely survey. The research subjects were class IX students totaling 45 people. The techniques and tools used in the study are indirect communication with questionnaires. Based on the results of data analysis on the use of youtube social media in class IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak influence the learning independence and get the correlation of 0.302 and significant 0.044 with the results of the analysis of the determination index 9.12%. This shows that if students use youtube social media more often for education, the higher learning independence.
