PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL TERHADAP AKTIVITAS BELAJAR EKONOMI KELAS X IIS SMAN 2 PONTIANAK

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know the effect of using social media on theeconomic learning activities of class X IIS students at SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak. In thisresearch, the method used is descriptive research and explanatory method (verificativesurvey). The data sources in this study were students of class X IIS SMAN 2 Pontianakwith a population of 180 students and a sample of 124 students obtained using simplerandom sampling technique. Collecting data using a questionnaire and the results is(1) the use of Whatsapp and Youtube are in the moderate category (2) Economiclearning activities can be categorized moderate (3) The effect of the use of socialmedia on economic learning activities with the formulation Y= 29.602 + 0.835 X andobtained t count > t table (6.448 > 1.979). Therefore Ha is accepted and H0 is rejectedor there is an effect of using social media on the economic learning activities of class XIIS students at SMA 2 Pontianak.Keyword: Social Media, Learning Activitie
