After systematically reviewing the 131 articles that focus on the entrepreneurship in family firms, we found that individual level interwoven with family level. To explicate two levels, this article defines the “entrepreneurship in family firms” as the nexus of family and opportunity, and further specifies the new category, “extent family firms are entrepreneurial”, into three dimensions: entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship in family firm, and entrepreneurial family. Then integrate the new category with Nordqvist and Melin (2010) three A dimensions to explicate the individual level, meso level and family level entrepreneurship in family firms. Additionally, we provide some future research directions about the entrepreneurship in family firms
