International audienceTo think of the food retail trade from the point of view of its territorialization is doubly original. Not only, is this intermediary link of the food systems often not present in scientific publications, but also territorial links are more generally considered in relation to location strategies. As part of the « Frugal » research project, two studies have focused on food retailing and place its in Nantes’s metropolitan area by selecting four categories of retail outlet: butchers’ shops, cheese shops, greengrocers’ shop and, secondarily, delicatessens. Based on aninventory and a questionnaire survey and semi-directive interviews, the analysis has been organised around a "triangle of territorialisation of retail trade"....
