Estilos de aprendizaje y las habilidades metacognitivas infantiles.

In this project was established as the main problem of the Educational Unit of the Millennium "Alóag" quantity education due to the large number of existing students in each classroom, for this reason is not selected attention in learning styles and rhythms, starting based on this evidence, the objective of the project is to establish the relationship between learning styles and the metacognitive skills of children at the initial level of the "Alóag" Millenium Education Unit, this was done by identifying the predominant learning style in Each child will allow generating metacognitive strategies that help generate meaningful learning. Starting with the scientific and technical foundation, the bibliographic information compiled from different sources of secondary information was pointed out, whose sources are listed in the corresponding section of the present project. To develop the theme, all the information regarding learning styles, metacognition, early education, learning, child psychology was documented, where the main exponents are: (Egido, 1999), (Ministry of Education, 2014), (Kolb, 1996) , (Flavell, 1976) and (Gardner, 1984). What allowed to determine that metacognition is a fascinating field; analyze, understand and apply it really is a task that should occupy a large part of the researching work of the teacher at all levels and especially in the first years of education of the human being because it is in these early stages where the human being will establish standards, parameters, rhythms and learning styles and it will be up to the teacher to motivate and guide the child so that they can understand and identify with the teaching-learning processes. In the methodological phase, a mixed approach was used, that is, quantitative and qualitative, with their respective techniques and information collection instruments, such as the survey addressed to the parents of the children of the initial of the Millennium Educational Unit "Alóag", the interview addressed to teachers of the initial and the rector of the unit and the observation made to the initial children. Obtaining as a result that 52.90% of the children have kinesthetic intelligence, 23.50% have visual intelligence and the remaining 23.50% have auditory intelligence, besides it was evidenced that the children are in the process of acquiring knowledge according to their age, which shows that they have not yet fully developed their metacognitive skills and are not yet able to regulate their learning.En el presente proyecto se estableció como principal problema de la Unidad Educativa del Milenio “Alóag” la educación masiva debido a la gran cantidad de alumnos existentes en cada aula, por esta razón no se prioriza la atención en los estilos y ritmos de aprendizaje, partiendo de esta premisa el objetivo del proyecto es establecer la relación existente entre los estilos de aprendizaje y las habilidades metacognitivas infantiles de los niños de nivel inicial de la Unidad Educativa del Milenio “Alóag”, esto se realizó mediante la identificación del estilo de aprendizaje predominante en cada niño lo que permitirá generar estrategias metacognitivas que ayuden a generar un aprendizaje significativo. Iniciando con la fundamentación científico técnica se puntualizó la información bibliográfica recopilada de diferentes fuentes de información secundaria, cuyas fuentes se encuentran enlistadas en la sección correspondiente del presente proyecto. Para desarrollar el tema se documentó toda la información referente a los estilos de aprendizaje, metacognición, educación inicial, aprendizaje, psicología infantil donde los principales exponentes son: (Egido, 1999), (Ministerio de Educación, 2014), (Kolb, 1996), (Flavell, 1976) y (Gardner, 1984). Lo que permitió determinar que la metacognición es un campo fascinante; analizarlo, entenderlo y aplicarlo realmente es una tarea que debería ocupar gran parte tiempo del trabajo investigativo del docente en todos los niveles y especialmente en los primeros años de educación del ser humano pues es en estas primeras etapas donde el ser humano establecerá normas, parámetros, ritmos y estilos de aprendizaje y dependerá del docente motivar y orientar al niño para que logre entender e identificarse con los procesos de enseñanza aprendizaje. En la fase metodológica se empleó un enfoque mixto, es decir cuantitativo y cualitativo con sus respectivas técnicas e instrumentos de recolección de información, tales como la encuesta dirigida a los padres de familia de los niños de inicial de la Unidad Educativa del Milenio “Alóag”, la entrevista dirigida a docentes de inicial y al rector de la unidad y la observación realizada a los niños de inicial. Obteniendo como resultado que el 52.90% de los niños poseen inteligencia kinestésica, el 23.50% poseen inteligencia visual y el 23.50% restante poseen inteligencia auditiva, además se evidenció que los niños se encuentran en proceso de adquisición de conocimientos acorde a su edad, lo que demuestra que aún no han desarrollado por completo sus habilidades metacognitivas y aun no se encuentran en la capacidad de regular su aprendizaje.Universidad Técnica de Cotopax
