La astronomía en la guía de Maimónides y la corona real de ibn Gabirol

The Keter Malkut (Royal Crown) of Ibn Gabirol not only is a praise of God or a poem that presents the problem of the human predicament translated into Neoplatonic psychology; it is also an introduccion to Neoplatonic metaphysics and the Ptolemaic cosmology. The 2nd Section (centos X-XXV) is a description of the scheme of the creation, beginning with the sub-lunary sphere up to the Throne of God, proceeding through the other spheres. All of them have astrological propensities. The astrological propensities in the chapter are of interest, because Maimomides rejected these opinions, as we can see in some of his works such as the Moreh Nebukim.El Keter Malkut de Ibn Gabirol no es sólo una loa a Dios o un poema en el que se expone el problema de la condición humana según la «psicología» neoplatónica; también es una introducción a la metafísica neoplatónica y a la cosmología de Tolomeo. La segunda sección (estrofas X-XXV) contiene una descripción del esquema de la creación, comenzando por la esfera sub-lunar hasta llegar al Trono de Dios, pasando por las otras esferas. A todas ellas atribuye propiedades astrológicas. Las propiedades astrológicas nos interesan en tanto en cuanto Maimónides condena de forma contundente estas opiniones, como podemos comprobar en alguna de sus obras como el Moreh Nĕbukim
