Closing the Gap looks at the way women from adversary clans in the Simbu Province, set the ground for justice in cases of sorcery and tribal warfare. We follow the experiences of a married couple accused of sorcery and displaced from their home. The women’s network, bringing together both civil society organisations and government entities, ensure the couple and other women and men are protected from further violence. Yumi Kirapim Senis – Community Actions against Violence is a six part film series that captures the extraordinary work of individuals and organisations and their challenges in addressing gender-based violence (GBV) across Papua New Guinea
