O PATRIMÔNIO HISTÓRICO E A CULTURA MATERIAL NO RENASCIMENTO

The article attempts to present and discuss the notions of cultural heritage based on the Renaissance period concerning the development of material culture. Besides, it is proposed to discuss the relationship between heritage, museum, monument, culture and memory, in the light of authors as Françoise Choay, Jacques Le Goff, Dominique Poulot and André Malraux.
