In this study, we examine the relationship between education and the Internet. In order for the Internet to have a functional role in education, the education system of a country must be in good quality. There is a serious problem of quality in Turkish education system. Unless the exiting structure of the Turkish education system changes, the Internet will not make meaningful contributions to education.Bu çalışmada, eğitim-Internet ilişkileri ele alınmıştır. İnternetin eğitim açısından işlevsel olabilmesi, bir ülkedeki eğitim sisteminin nitelikli olmasına bağlıdır. Türk eğitim sisteminde ciddi bir nitelik sorunu bulunmaktadır. Eğitimin bu yapısı değişmediği sürece, Internet, eğitime anlamlı katkılarda buluna mayacaktır
