HUBUNGAN BBLR DAN ASFIKSIA DENGAN KEJADIAN HIPERBILIRUBINEMIA DI RUANG NEONATUS RSUD A. YANI KOTA METRO

Hyperbilirubinemia is a condition when total bilirubin rate increase quickly till <12mg% and be accompanied with hemolysis signs. Prasurvey data that do in jendral ahmad yani hospital, hyperbilirubinemia incident in 2015 is 19,7%. Cause factors of hyperbilirubinemia in new born baby are low weight born baby and asphyxia. This study purpose is to know correlation of low weight born baby and asphyxia with hyperbilirubinemia incident in neonatus room of jendral ahmad yani hospital. Design of this study is case control analytic. Population of this study are all of baby in neonate room in 2015 involve hyperbilirubinemia new born baby as case and normal new born baby as control. Sample are 42 case samples and 42 control samples and total are 82 babies (1:1 comparison). Sampling technique is consecutive sampling. Data analysis use chi square test. The result of this study is data distribution of low weight born baby with hyperbilirubinemia that all 76,2% and distribution of asphyxia baby with hyperbilirubinemia that all 59,5%. Analysis result from correlation between low weight born baby and hyperbilirubinemia is get p value = 0,007. And there is correlation between asphyxia and hyperbilirubinemia get p value = 0,049. Need right handling that suitable with standard for low weight born baby and asphyxia to maintain baby’s temperature, preventing infection, nutrition control and weighing so hyperbilirubinemia can prevented
