Ann Bull again expressing concern for Charity's mental and physical state in a letter written a month before Charity's death in early August, 1824. Dr. Eli Todd has established his Insane Retreat, Ann mentions that after the death of Thomas Rotch in 1823, Charity seemed resigned to God's will. Ann asked if Charity might consider a return to New England to be with family. In 1824, she and executors were in the process of setting the Rotch estate in order. Charity made out her own will in 1824. She is buried in the Quaker cemetery in Kendal, Seneca Street, Massillon, her grave marked by a simple stone with the initials, "CR". 7.95" x 9.8" (20.1 by 24.9 cm
