Background. Urinary tract infection (UTI) is one of the most common bacterial infection in children. Anatomic and functional abnormalities of urinary tract increase the incidence of UTI. Knowledge about current etiological factors of UTI in children with urinary tract abnormalities enables to select the appropriate empiric therapy. Objectives. The occurrence of pathogens causing UTI in children with anatomic and functional abnormalities of urinary tract was analyzed. Material and methods.
