This article presents the results of a study on analyzing the central addictive beliefs in two groups of adult poli-consumers between the ages of 20 and 28 in Bogotá and Barranquilla. The study is quantitative, descriptive and a non-experimental method. The sample was made up of 100 male subjects (50 in each city) they received the The Alcohol, Smoking and Substance Involvement Screening Test ASSIST (Henry-Edwards et al, 2003) as well as the set of beliefs on substance abuse (Beck, et. al.; 1999).
