Add to ORKGMay Vallance reminisces about attending the Dutch Hill School, also known as the Fairplay School, in Ravalli County, Montana, from 1910 to 1914. She also recalls teaching at the Sleeping Child School after she finished high school. Vallance describes the different social events and programs her schools hosted, such as dances and holiday programs. She remembers her students and discusses how a teacher would successfully teach a group of children with ages ranging from 6 to 14.
