Jan Joosten : The Old Testament Peshitta in recent research. The work done in Leiden on the text of the Old Testament Peshitta has led to wider interest in this important Bible version. New insights have been achieved particularly in the following fields : the manuscript tradition, the relation between the Peshitta and the Targums, the date and milieu of the Tyriac version, and the influence exerted upon it by the Septuagint.Suite au travail d'édition du texte qui se fait à Leiden, la Peshitta de l'Ancien Testament connaît un regain d'intérêt scientifique.
