The Center for Maine Contemporary Art, founded in 1952 in Rockport, has a new building, designed by Toshiba Mori of New York City. According to the director, Suzette McAvoy, the newly designed Center the Center is more amenable to community engagement and programming which will help to engage the youth and, in turn, help build a more sustainable, vibrant community.
