The planned construction of a new, 45,000-square-foot headquarters for Healthsource Maine on Route 1 south of downtown Freeport could result in more development along the road. The proposed construction helped the town get a $1.6 million federal grant to assist with extending water and sewerage lines, and the town now wants to extend those lines even further to accommodate any future development in the area.
