The town of Freeport has received the approval of the federal Economic Development Administration to apply for a $1.6 million grant to help pay for water and sewer lines to a new office building. The grant would be used to accomodate the proposal by Healthsource Maine Inc. to build 50,000 square feet of office space on Route 1 south of downtown
