Shaw\u27s has announced plans to build a 40,000-square-foot supermarket in downtown Bangor, an area without a major food store since the closing of Doug\u27s Shop \u27n Save two years ago. Some area residents and activists are unhappy with the plans because three or four houses and six to eight apartments will need to be demolished
