An Exchange Street block in downtown Bangor is for sale and has a possible buyer. Once the center of Bangor\u27s social scene, the six buildings in the block have been underutilized in recent years. A history of the block (at one time called the E.C. Nichols Block, the Nichols building being the only building on the block to survive Bangor\u27s great fire of 1911) and buildings\u27 uses are featured, as well as hopes for the future development of the block.
