Walter Rumery is now the only candidate for Portland\u27s District 3 School Committee seat being vacated by Lisa Toner. Candidates for the District 3 seat on the city council are incumbent at-large councilor Nathan Smith, a lawyer; Pat Bernard, a Maine Medical Center secretary; and John Haley, who works for a medical services company in Sanford. Brian Wallace, of Munjoy Hill has become a candidate for one of two at-large seats on the city council
