A lot of games rely on very rigid Artificial Intel- ligence techniques such as Finite-State machines that get overly complex as the game worlds themselves do. This often leads to very static AI behaviour that is the same across a number of characters. Through the use of Neural Networks this paper hopes to show how these rigid controllers can be replaced with a more intelligent solution that gives better visual behaviour and can provide greater variety
