Tuesday, April 21, after school, the bombarding Pee Wees began their baseball, career for another season. The first four innings were full of excitement with the Pee Wees leading by 7 to 4. The last in­nings were more like a merry-go-round than a baseball game. In my estimation the high school team would be a hard team to beat if they would practice more. ,. Roy Rollingson, Blaine Leishman, Lloyd Sanders, and Wayne Robinson collected'home runs for-the Pee Wees, _ Bill Rich, and Max Sabey brought in the home runs for the High School; After the final inning the score read 30-18 in favor •of the Pee Wees. Their-hope's wore ' high, yet hearts full of fear for what the' result would be. After hearing two fine choruses, Magrath was called to display their talent. . Forty .pupils .marched upon the stage.with heads'high and chins.up. They sang well, and were given credit for it, their marks being 84$ for the first, and 88$ for the second song. Though the adjudicator said they were third they did not feel disappointed for they had done their best.
