This article provides an analysis of Stanislavski‟s “system”, focusing on the significance of language as a main part of it. Stanislavski placed a special emphasis on phonetic and expressive aspects in the difficult creative process of giving birth to a character. The importance of language as a conscious and unconscious support for performance is a prevailing idea in the theoretical foundations of his method.
