Macroalgae is one of the abundant biological resources in Indonesian waters. It is highly variable as compared to other countries. Macroalgae are photosynthetic organisms because they have a very unique pigment content, this is marked by different the color of each type of macroalgae. The Macroalgae classification system is divided into three classes, namely Chlorophyceae, Phaeophyceae, and Rhodopyceae.
