Inventarisasi dan Distribusi Makroalga pada Substrat Pasir di Pantai Kukup Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta

The macroalgae is a type of algae that still in the form of thalus and has habitat in sea water by attaching to the sand or rock substrate. Kukup Beach has a fairly extensive coastal area with a relatively low slope of the intertidal region and supporting environmental factors. The temperature average of sea water is 31.4-31,5 ° C and pH of the water ranges from 6-7. The purpose of this study was to identification the types and distribution of macroalgae on the sand substrate in Kukup Beach, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta. This study uses the quadratic transect method with a length 20 meters to the coast and 100 meters along the shoreline. The transect line was 5 with the distance of each transect line was 25 meters. The quadrant transect used 1x1 m2 on each transect line with a distance of each quadrant was 10 meter in one transect line. The reseach results showed that there were 6 species of macroalgae in the sand substrate belonging to 4 families, namely Gigartinaceae, Sphoerococcaceae, Ulvaceae, and Dictyotaceae. The dominant type of macroalgae was Enteromorpha intestinalis. The Morsita Dispersion Index of all macroalgae was
