Elam Alexander Academy is currently recognized by the Georgia Department of Education for operational status with PBIS implementation. Our team has implemented PBIS with fidelity for the past five years. The team will discuss best practices when implementing Tier 1 PBIS framework in conjunction with other Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions. Many challenges can arise when integrating token economies, as well as other behavioral interventions. Our program’s successes and missteps will be discussed so others might avoid common pitfalls
