HUBUNGAN SIPIL MILITER DI THAILAND PADA MASA PEMERINTAHAN THAKSIN SHINAWATRA

Thailand is a country in Southeast Asia that has experienced the power struggle and military coup. The coup d’etat has happened indicates evidence of backsliding from democracy of a country and the coup is also one form of military intervention in the politics Thailand. In this study uses the concept of civil military relations to find out the pattern of the relations between the civilian and the military in Thailand during the government of Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. The result of this research are the Government of Thaksin became popular with all it's policies which are able to make Thailand out of the Asian crisis. Although Thaksin had made policy had a positive impact but also there are negative effects to the detriment of the country. At the time of the civil military relations, Thaksin included in subjective civilian control due to maximize civil power and minimize military power. So the relations between the civilian and military is always tinged with the tension of conflict
