UPAYA MUHAMMADIYAH DALAM PEACEBUILDING MELALUI PENDIDIKAN DI THAILAND SELATAN

The purpose of this study is how to understand the phenomenon of conflict that occurs in the region of Southern Thailand and find out the extent of the effectiveness of forms of cooperation between the Government of Thailand and Muhammadiyah organizations in Indonesia to restore conflict in Southern Thailand. The theory used by the authors in the discussion of conflict in Southern Thailand is peacebuilding with additional concepts, namely the concept of international organizations. The analysis that the author uses with peacebuilding can help resolve the prolonged conflict in Southern Thailand. Peacebuilding can bring about a gradual development after the conflict by taking steps that are also assisted by all relevant actors. The Thai government invites Muhammadiyah to assist in resolving the conflict in Southern Thailand. The assistance provided by Muhammadiyah to the southern community is more focused on the overall education domain. The sending of teaching staff from Indonesia, exchanges between students, and the formation of dai and the rebuilding of pesantren is a form of assistance from Muhammadiyah to ensure stability for residents of Southern Thailand
