ANALISIS PENYEBAB TERJADINYA KUDETA MILITER DI MYANMAR PADA TAHUN 2021

This study discusses the analysis of the causes of the Military Coup in Myanmar in 2021. The Military Coup has been going on for decades in Myanmar where the process to achieve democratic government is very difficult. The research method used is qualitative using a descriptive approach. The researcher uses the Civil-Military Relations concept from Samuel P. Huntington and the Military Coup concept by Edward Luttwak. To collect data, researchers used secondary data in the form of library data from books, journals, theses, online news and official websites. The results of the study show that the cause of the military coup in Myanmar until 2021 is how ethnic conflicts are, constitutional problems where the constitution is still very rigid where the military holds full power, until the cause of Myanmar's economic development which in the Aung San Suu Kyi era made the military want to carry out a coup. military because the existence of the military began to fade
