Laterality has been established as a variable that, apparently, is related to academic achievement, however, there is no agreement about if this relationship influences read-ing as well. The aim of this project is to determine the relationship between laterality and effectiveness in reading processes. Specifically, this study will be focused on the relationship among laterality, reading comprenhension and reading speed. The sample was taken from a class of the second year of primary education.
