Climate change has become the main challenge of our society. Extensive CO2 emission due to fossil fuel combustion has to be minimized to prevent severe damages to the climate system. Hence, new and sustainable energy carriers have to be explored. Hydrogen can be produced in a sustainable manner, however, current processes are not yet economically viable.
